FLAMBEAU POINT RESORT

Flater's Flambeau Point Resort is located at the headwaters of Lake Holcombe, where the famous Chippewa and Flambeau rivers enter the lake. Game fish are plentiful, such as Muskie, Northern and Walleyed Pike and Small Mouth Bass. There is good Catfish and Sturgeon fishing, too. We are within a a few minutes' drive of several good panfish lakes.

We offer a choice of four different river trips, all on the Chippewa and Flambeau rivers. Guides are available at reasonable rates. These are very beautiful trips with excellent game fishing and scenic canoeing. The beautiful Flambeau Hills offer scenery, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.

To add to your family's enjoyment we have a swimming beach, children's playground, inner tubing, canoeing, horseshoe pits, a basketball court and a softball diamond. Other Recreational facilities such as bowling and golfing are available in nearby cities.

Our comfortable liquor bar overlooks both rivers and includes a lounge with a fireplace. Sandwiches and pizzas are available in the lounge. There are many good restaurants and nite clubs nearby. A good grocery store and churches of most denominations are close to the resort. Try our resort and you will come back year after year!

HOUSEKEEPING COTTAGES
Each cottage is equipped with Knotty pine decor, modern bathroom with shower, complete kitchen, TV, innerspring mattresses, bed linens and a beautiful view of the rivers. Towels not furnished.

FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE — Deep freeze services, canoes and pontoon rental, motor rental, outboard gas and oil, fishing licenses, fish cleaning house and babysitters available.

TRAILER PARK AND CAMPING

Trailer park and camping site are located along the banks of the Chippewa River. Sewer hookups are available in the trailer park, as well as electrical and water hookups, central shower house and flush toilets, picnic tables, and firewood. All of the resort facilities are available to campers.

ENJOY A WINTER VACATION

Whether you are a snowmobiler or cross country skier, there are many beautiful trails, county and private, leading to and from the resort. We have cozy, warm units available for winter use with gas heat and running hot water.
